The Australian long swims database
This is a volunteer-run project in collaboration with the Australian Long Distance Swimming Federation, which aims to bring visibility and recognition to
the open-water swimming culture of Australia and showcase our nation’s great long-distance swim races and athletes.
About our content
Data sources
The database is free, transparent and inclusive. We do not ratify swims but simply publish the results as ratified and shared by race organisers and authoritative bodies such as the Australian Long Distance Swimming Federation.
Unless otherwise specified, all data presented on this site has been shared by race and event organizers, relevant federations or is publically available on dedicated race result platforms.
English Channel results are sourced from the CSPF website, thanks to the great work by Julian Critchlow who compiles and sanitizes the data from both the CSA and the CSPF.
If you notice any mistakes, you can make a request for modification by contacting us. If you are a marathon swim race organiser or ratifying body and would like to share your results with us, please get in touch.

About our content
Privacy
We publish publicly available results of official races, including athletes’ names and results under the lawful basis of legitimate interest. All data is non-sensitive, publicly available and we store only the data which is necessary for public interest.
Pursuant to the General Data Protection Regulation, the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and other regulations from various jurisdictions, every athlete whose name is published on this site has the right to access their data, request a copy, request correction of inaccurate data and, in some cases, request erasure of any data pertaining to them. Should you wish to make such a request, please send us your request via the contact form.
